Aileen Gorman to be named a 2005 Girl Scouts, Patriots' Trail Council Leading Women Aileen Gorman , Executive Director of The Commonwealth Institute, has been named one of the 2005 Girl Scouts, Patriots' Trail Council Leading Women. Thirteen years ago, the Leading Women Awards were developed to recognize local women for their accomplishments and contributions to their communities and society. Over the years, a diverse group of women with unique areas of achievement have been celebrated for the inspiration they bring to the next generation of Leading Women. The Commonwealth Institute also congratulates one of our members, Dina Chu, CEO and Co-Founder of New Basics, Inc. on being among the 2005 Leading Women awardees. Additional awardees are: Marty Jones, President, Corcoran Jennison Cos.; Christine Keville, President & CEO, Keville Enterprises; Deborah Kolb, Professor of Negotiation and Conflict Resolution, Simmons Graduate School of Management; Sandra McCroom, Executive Director, Roxbury Youthworks; and Ann Merrifield, President of BuiSurgery, Genzyme. This year's Leading Women Celebration will be held on Tuesday, October 25 from 7:30 – 9:30 a.m. at the Boston Marriott Copley Place .
