A Letter from the President, Dorothy Eisenberg Spring 2009
Dear TCI Community:
TCI has been in South Florida for over five years! This year is proving to be one of the most challenging, not just for us, but for the entire nonprofit community and our members and sponsors. We are here to provide a resource and help our members and sponsors get through this difficult economic time together. To that end, we continue to bring you quality programs and speakers, drive revenue for our members through our Ignite Your Business Series, and strengthen our connections and partnership within the community.
Now more than ever, I encourage you to get involved in what TCI is doing. Our forums provide women with a safe and confidential environment to work through real issues that are affecting your business today.
The Commonwealth Institute is the only community of business leaders that provides access to a collective brain trust for women CEOs and Senior Executives in all stages of business growth.
In addition to our forums I am delighted to announce some wonderful upcoming events.
• On May 6th, our founder Lois Silverman will join us for a luncheon in Broward about her life, leadership and the importance of philanthropy.
• On June 4th, we will have our Top Women Led Business luncheon honoring women in South Florida who are making a difference and driving the economy forward.
• We also have our Leadership Luncheon Speaker confirmed for October 6, 2009. We are honored to announce Madeleine Albright will be our 6th Annual Leadership Luncheon Speaker!
