Carolyn Kapioltas is President and Owner of C.K. Woods, Inc. and C.K. Woods Stables. The company breeds, sells and races thoroughbred horses in Kentucky, New York and Florida. Some of the races the stable has won are the Maryland Million Nursery Stakes, the Kent Breeders Cup, the Transylvania Stakes, the Miss Preakness Stakes, the Ticonderoga Handicap, the Mecke Stakes, the Pilgram Stakes and the O.B.S. Sprint Stakes among others. Carolyn and her husband John spend the winter months in Florida and the summer in Vermont.
