The Commonwealth Institute is pleased to bring the Leadership Accelerator Program (LEAP) to the Boston business community. As part of this innovative leader mentoring program, we host an introductory, hands-on workshop and a series of highly successful Leadership Luncheons as a way to share the lessons learned from current mentors and mentees. Kick off your new year with exciting ways to think about your leading in 2010.

LEAP
Bonnie Gorbaty, TCI Forum Leader and LEAP Program Director, will discuss the key concepts of our Leadership Accelerator Program (LEAP) and how creative leading makes a critical difference for both organizations and individuals, regardless of industry and experience. Bonnie will be joined by Andrea Cohen, CEO of HouseWorks – a LEAP graduate and a TCI member who sent one of her aspiring leaders to LEAP this past year. Bonnie and Andrea will define and provide examples of the leader mentoring concept and also discuss the following:

  • Do you struggle with being a strong leader or knowing when and how to lead?
  • Are you looking to bridge the gap between being a successful manager and an insightful leader?
  • Have you ever experienced the power of a mentor in helping you access more of your own inner talent as a leader?
  • Are you interested in cultivating the leadership skills of your rising stars and building your bench for succession planning?

All attendees will walk away with some practical and immediate ways to apply this understanding to your business and career. This is also an excellent opportunity to find out if the 2010 LEAP cohort, launching in April, is the right place for you to be.
