Mindy is a Second Vice President of Wealth Management in Morgan Stanley Smith Barney's Waltham, Massachusetts office. As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™, Mindy focuses her talents on comprehensive financial planning for the team. Specifically, Mindy works with clients on retirement planning, education planning, tax planning, budgeting and cash flow analysis, debt management, and insurance planning.
By using a thorough discovery technique, Mindy first uncovers each client's goals and concerns and then helps address them with tangible strategies. “We believe the most effective financial planning is done when the right questions are asked. We take special care to facilitate thoughtful discussions and effective communication within each family.” She considers it her duty to understand each individual on a personal level and to proactively help them update and revisit their plan as life circumstances change.
Mindy began her career as a Financial Advisor in Morgan Stanley's Boston office in the late 1990s when common sense investing seemed to have been forgotten. As a result, she is passionate about providing comprehensive wealth management advice to her clients. Mindy graduated from the University of New Hampshire where she was a member of the Division I Women's Soccer team. Mindy lives in Needham Massachusetts with her husband Bryan and son Jack and enjoys running, skiing, cooking, reading and spending time with her family and friends.
