Center, Chairman of the Board of the Boston University School of Hospitality, a Trustee and Chairman Emeritus of
Emerson
College and an International Overseer for
Tufts
University. She is a founding member of The Boston Club and has been named NEWBO (New England Women Business Owners) Women of the Year. The Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association International awarded Irma its Lifetime Achievement Award and more recently inducted her into its Hall of Fame, the highest honor awarded by the hotel industry.
