    Aviva Sapers elected to TCI Board of Directors

    Aileen Gorman featured in Applaud Women magazine

    Applaud Women's summer 2010 issues focuses on women leaders in Massachusetts and New Hampshire

    Executive Director Aileen Gorman was featured in the recent issue of Applaud Women magazine.  The current issue, available only online, profiles over 22 women networking leaders in Massachusetts and New Hampshire.  In the article on pages 85-86, Gorman discusses her early days as an AmeriCorps volunteer in rural Alabama and how the lessons learned shaped her as a corporate leader and eventually as the Executive Director of The Commonwealth Institute.  Click below to read the article, and access the entire magazine, in its entirety.

    Four New Directors Elected to Board of The Commonwealth Institute

    Nonprofit focused on women’s entrepreneurship and business growth expands leadership

    BOSTON, MASSACHUSETTS, July 9, 2010 – The Commonwealth Institute, a nonprofit  organization that helps women CEOs, corporate executive and nonprofit executive directors build successful companies and organizations today announces the election of four new board members to serve for a term of two years. New board members are Deborah Besemer, Former CEO BrassRing; Andrea Cohen, CEO HouseWorks; Lauren Jennings, Of Counsel Posternak Blankstein & Lund LLP and Helene Solomon, Founder Solomon McCown & Company. With the addition of these four directors, the board is now comprised of twenty four directors.

    CEO Forum Now Using EquityTouch Deal Sourcing Software

    2009 Survey of Woman-Led Businesses in Massachusetts and Florida
