Event Detail

Evening with Marcia Wilson of Daffy’s

Tuesday, March 25
5:00 – 7:00 pm
The Federal Reserve Bank of Boston
600 Atlantic Avenue
Boston, MA

Please join Judy George, CEO, Domain Home Fashions, and Marcia for scintillating discussion about this economic climate, the fun and frustration of managing a business through it, and good friendship.

Forty years ago, Irving Shulman opened Daffy Dan’s Bargaintown in Elizabeth, New Jersey...selling everything from orange paint to designer dresses! Twenty years ago, Marcia came home to run the family business. Today, Daffy’s is a leading off-price retailer of clothing and home accessories with 1300 employees in 17 locations, and is still using the tag line "Clothing Bargains for Millionaires".. Like many of you, Marcia is faced with the unique business challenges that are dictated by a volatile economy and the impending presence of war.
