INSIGHT PERFORMANCE IMPROVEMENT NAMES CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER AND HR CLIENT EXECUTIVE Insight Performance Improvement, Inc., a strategic human resources consulting firm, has appointed Susan Williamson as chief operating officer and Robert Merriam as HR Client Executive. Williamson brings 20 years of human resources managerial and operational experience to her newly created position. She will be responsible for all aspects of operations and account management as well as the firm's technology infrastructure. Merriam will be responsible for both strategic and tactical client delivery. “Sue and Bob are invaluable assets to our organization,” said Nancy R. Mobley, Insight's president and CEO. “Sue's talents, passion and depth of operational expertise will be critical as we move our company to the next level of growth. And, Bob's proven expertise in HR practices, combined with his strong technical and managerial skills, make him an ideal addition to our team,” Mobley said.
Williamson has extensive experience in both consulting and internal management roles. Prior to joining Insight, Williamson was director of operations at Delta Dental, where she managed a 701 budget and 200 employees in the areas of operations, account management, technology, and customer service. Previously, Williamson was a senior compensation consultant at W.T. Haigh Associates and Watson Wyatt. She also worked for Charles River Breeding Laboratories and Fidelity Investments, and has a master's in business administration from Babson College. Merriam brings 20 years of senior-level human resource management experience to Insight, and most recently served as the director of human resources for Novacel, Inc. In this position, Merriam managed all U.S. and Mexico human resource activities for 400 employees at four sites. Previously, Merriam was HR manager at W.R. Grace and Company. He earned his master of business administration at Babson and holds a bachelor of arts degree from the University of Vermont.
