Women of Ethnic Diversity Initiative

Our Mission is to build a community of ethnically diverse women entrepreneurs to address unique business challenges, transfer knowledge and provide access to previously untapped networks and resources needed to facilitate business growth.

Critical to the success of the Initiative is our WEDI Advisory Board, a diverse group of women who represent the ethnic communities we serve and understand the unique challenges and needs of the group.

What does the Women of Ethnic Diversity Initiative (WEDI) do?

There are four pieces of work that enable us to execute this important mission:

Community Building – We connect women CEO's of ethnic diversity to one another and to the larger business community, providing opportunities to expand networks, gain greater access to resources and foster collaborations.

Unique Outreach – We access TCI's exclusive network of resources within the business community including our WEDI Advisory Board, Board of Directors, Corporate Sponsors and Membership to connect women entrepreneurs of ethnic diversity.

Knowledge Transfer - TCI's successful "peer mentoring" approach gives women entrepreneurs the opportunity to share "lessons learned" and support each other with the strength of combined experience from successes and failures.  

Business Enhancement – We facilitate creation of business opportunities that lead to revenue generation, streamlined operations or significant cost reduction, which are all valued by any growth-oriented business.

• Opportunities to develop professional networking and mentoring relationships, through preferred invitations to WEDI and some larger TCI events.

• Introductions of professional resources, when requested and whenever possible.
