Results from the 2007 Member Program Survey Dear
Members,
I would like to thank all of you that participated in our Member Program Survey. To date, we have recieved a 20% response rate, and we are looking for more to participate! The
topics that are top of mind for those of you that participated included
Growing Your Business (58%), Leadership (50%), Negotiating (45%), Serving
on a Board (43%), and Communication/Networking (43%). For each of
these topics, you listed specific issues you would like to hear about
and gave us great suggestions. It is clear that you would like to
hear more member success stories and have a more diverse group of speakers.
In addition, nearly all of you expressed the need for more networking
and resource-sharing with other members.
We're
listening.
We
are pleased to launch our Online Forum this month, which
is a member-only forum for sharing information and resources online. Members,
look for your invitation to this forum later in September. Furthermore,
we have developed a Structured Networking Program to
be scheduled for late 2007 that is designed solely for networking, giving
and receiving referrals.
Our
currently
scheduled programs reflect your request for topics such as
"communicating to/motivating the younger generation" and "effective leadership."
On September 18th, please join us for "iPods, E-Mails and Instant Messaging:
Is Anybody Listening to You?: Managing Today's Multi-Generational Work
Force," and on October 24th, please join us to celebrate our 10th Anniversary.
We
are in the midst of developing the 2008 program schedule, which will reflect
the topics that have emerged from this survey as subjects that are most
relevant to you and your business.
