Annette Taddeo Receives Latina
Excellence Award from Hispanic Magazine

Honored for Furthering the Role of Hispanics in Business

YORK CITY - Annette Taddeo, president and CEO of Miami-based LanguageSpeak,
received a 2004 Latina Excellence Award from Hispanic Magazine for her
achievements in business and her contributions to the greater Hispanic
community.
Sam Verdeja, publisher and CEO
of Hispanic Publishing Group, presented Taddeo with the award at a luncheon
ceremony attended by more than 100 guests today at the St. Regis Hotel
in New York City.
"I'm honored to be recognized for
serving as a voice of Hispanic business and proud to be included among
an impressive group of Latina leaders," Taddeo said.
Taddeo, founded LanguageSpeak,
a language- translation and interpretation services company, in 1995.
In addition to her role as president and CEO of LanguageSpeak, Taddeo
currently serves on the National Forum of the Women's Business Enterprise
National Council, the executive committee of the Miami Beach Chamber of
Commerce and the board of directors of the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce.
In addition, she is the chair elect of the Coalition of Chambers of Commerce
of Miami-Dade County and is a past chairperson of the Women's Chamber
of Commerce of Miami-Dade County.
Over the past decade, Taddeo, a
native of Colombia, has garnered numerous awards including Women in International
Trade's International Businesswoman of the Year Award, South Florida Business
Journal's "Up & Comers Award" and Miami Metro Magazine's "Miami's
Most Powerful & Influential Women." Most recently, she was one of
14 women nationwide to be honored by the Women's Business Enterprise National
Council (WBENC) as a Woman-Owned Business Star.
